Linden Hills

Like St. Anthony Park in St. Paul, Linden Hills was a little village at the turn of the century. Boundaries of Linden Hills are Lake Calhoun to the north, Lake Harriet to the east, a line from the south shores of Lake Harriet west to Zenith Avenue, the last street of ‘the first set of alphabets” (a charming and helpful Minneapolis tradition of putting all the streets in alphabetical order.)
The houses in Linden Hills are a varied mixture of old and new. No house in Linden Hills is more than 8 blocks to one of the lakes with all of the rollerblading, jogging, walking, sailing and swimming your heart desires!
Don’t forget about the Rose Gardens, the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary and the beautiful bandshell scheduled all summer with concerts for your listening pleasure!![]()
The Village itself will provide you with all you need to maintain your world. From the old Carnegie Library to Linden Hills Food Co-Op, and from the Wild Rumpus children’s bookstore to Linden Hills Yarns, friendly shopkeepers here are ready to help!
