St Anthony Park

St. Anthony Park has the prestige of being one of the most popular neighborhoods in all of St. Paul. It is characterized by winding streets, hilly, topography, and a little village that time forgot. There are two distinct residential areas, North and South St Anthony Park real estate, divided by the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks and train yard.

The area was first developed in the late 1800′s as a planned community between the two downtowns. Much of the housing is coveted for its elegant woodwork, detailing, craftsmanship and variety of sizes. Several Queen Anne’s dot the landscape and are on the National Register. Many of the houses built in the area are adaptations of Bungalow, Craftsman, Prairie style, Four Square and Victorian designs.
